A professional photographer, Eduard Friedl has been the director of the photostudio at the Technical University of Berlin for over 30 years. He tours Asia extensively, and he has prepared audio visual shows about Thailand, China and India. His photographs of contemporary India give a rare insight to the life and people of the subcontinent.
