Satya aur Ahimsa (Hindi)

Translation from Hindi:

Truth and Nonviolence

"I have said I am no Mahatma. Just because people call me a Mahatma, do I become one? I can hardly create a miracle or make any magic. I have no magic. I never learnt that art. I am just like you, an ordinary man. The only difference between you and me is perhaps that my faith in God is slightly greater than yours. But whether one has less or more faith in God, does it make one a Mahatma? With this can I do magic? I don't have any magic at all. That is not how I understand God. I believe God is a great force (power). Seen from one side, His name is truth (satya) and seen from another it is nonviolence (ahimsa), Satya can not be fully practised without the practice of ahimsa. God has not made me a Mahatma nor has he given me a magic wand. I have no magic wand or any other wand."
