| For more than
two decades, millions of readers have been enjoying R. K. Laxman's marvellous cartoons in The Times of India, many of which make one laugh out aloud. I would like to say, however, that the cartoon that appeared on February 1, depicting a beggar contributing his proverbial one penny's worth to the Gujarat Relief Fund was really a masterpiece.For a change, instead of a laugh, it brought tears to my eyes.
