A true Hindu is impatient to eradicate the evil becuase he is affected and afflicted but has to be patient because he is sinner. In the language of the Jallianwala Bag tragedy 'G' has to deal with Hindu Dyers. 'G' feels that the problem of removing untouchability is bigger than that of giving Swaraj but the former can be tacked easily if the latter is solved Gandhi makes it clear that he opposed untouchability even before he know anything about Christian religion and that therefore in his fight he is not inflnenced by Christians as alleged. Gandhi feels the same about sacrifice of goats to goodesses even more because they are dumb. |
